A Family Tradition...Now in our Second Generation...

In 1974, Nancy and Dan Durand, proprietors of DanRic Homes, built their home for sale in Troup County, Georgia. The Durand’s mission was clear - to provide the residents of Troup County with a quality home at an affordable price. 

In its humble beginnings DanRic Homes was a small operation but quickly grew into what the company is today – a major builder, now a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), serving the West Central Georgia and East Alabama areas. Five decades later and still going strong, DanRic Homes has proudly built thousands of new homes from Newnan, GA to Montgomery, AL, and everywhere in between!

As DanRic Homes has continued to grow, so has the tradition of being a family-owned business. Since the very first "DanRic Home" was built, Nancy Durand has worked at her husband's side. Today, Nancy assists with Financial and Corporate Sponsorship Operations for DanRic Homes and operates Durand Properties, a family rental company. The Durand's oldest daughter, Darby Pippin, grew up in the home building business and formally joined the company in 1998 as Vice President of Operations. Their younger daughter, Kelly Cain, also entered the family business as General Office Manager in 2005. On December 31, 2009, Dan Durand officially retired as President of DanRic Homes and now, Darby holds that title, with Kelly assuming the role of Vice President.

With the Durand daughters assuming the responsibility of the business their parents built, DanRic Homes has the unique position of being a tried-and-true construction company that continues to evolve and expand its vision, keeping on the cusp of modern home-building trends. The excitement and enthusiasm of sisters Darby and Kelly ensures that the well-rooted family business will continue to grow and thrive through the next generation and beyond.
 

Much has changed at DanRic Homes since 1974. We have expanded our operations, grown into our 2nd generation, and added diligent and qualified employees to our "family". However, the one thing that will always remain the same is our commitment to building quality homes with exceptional value!
